2016 has been the year of biopics of Indian cricketers as Azhar and MS Dhoni- The Untold Story have released and did a good job at the box office.

However, despite the recent trend of biopics, Yuvraj Singh’s story stands apart as he has been the poster boy of Indian cricket during the late 2000s and early 2010s with his elegant batting. Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has expressed his interest to act in Yuvraj Singh’s biopic.

He was quoted saying, “I like Dhoni, as a person. Because I’ve had the good fortune of interacting with him on a couple of ad films. I’ve met him socially also. I think he’s a top guy. Extremely humble, extremely focused and a really good guy. He’s got good energy, positive. So, I would only score the human being higher.”
